Its navigation system was efficient. It stayed clear of steps and walked close to walls without falling. It had trouble with fine particles and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also relatively high, and it could be less of a set-and-forget model than others.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, comes with a docking system that allows it to refill its clean water, empty the dust bin as well as wash and dry the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. A few hundred dollars less than the S8 This robot does a bang-up job at keeping my home office tidy and is able to take on the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to build an image of your area, so it knows where not to go. And, unlike many vacuums with mopping capabilities, it has object/obstacle detection that avoids items such as bowls and dog toys (but not poop!).
It has other great standout features, including a self-emptying dust bin, a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas other mops miss. You can also set your own cleaning schedule within the app and adjust the settings for each room in your home.
It has the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can differentiate between carpets and laminate with high-pile carpets. If you're looking to cut down on time, it will avoid mopping rooms that aren't soiled. It's a great choice for those who have a variety of flooring in your home but aren't looking to spend the extra money for Roborock. Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that can handle regular maintenance and touch-ups on wet messes, this robot is an excellent choice. It comes with a variety of features including self-emptying dustbins, the water refill dock, and adjustable settings in the app. It's quite quiet and can move between furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It's not able to pick up knots in the rug and its battery drains more quickly than other models we've test.
With a cost of less than $250 and less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and useful automation into a slick design. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming, but overall it did very well. It has a variety of cleaning modes, from the low-power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the more powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It can even remove and reconnect the mop pads without causing your carpets soaked.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used even in small spaces. It's extremely silent and fast and it is able to navigate tight spaces well. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair out of carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has good suction power and can be configured to take pictures of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as "not found' to ensure that they are not removed in future cleanings. The photos are secure and not linked to your account.
It is capable of vaccuming, but it isn't as effective at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes you clip to the bot's bottom, and it essentially drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
