Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

If you're looking to clean up mess fast and efficiently, a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The top robot vacuums and mops I've tested come with top-quality mapping and navigation and are able to pick up Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds without leaving them behind.

You can also schedule cleaning chores using an app and track their progress.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

If you're looking for the best robot vacuum and mop combination with bleeding-edge features look no further than the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. This top-of-the-line model is swift and agile and can pick up dirt such as hair from pets and human hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking app interface with a miniature map of your house and a few on-screen buttons for manual control.

Another noteworthy characteristic of the S8 is its ability to alter its cleaning mode according to dirt levels thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will wash its mopping pads more frequently when it comes across dust. Carpeted areas are given priority for mopping using mopping pads that are damp.

The mop roller has many other smart features, such as a dock that connects to the plumbing system in your home to clean and wash it without you needing to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant in the S8, you can use voice commands to set the cleaning mode of your room and provide the ability to control granular settings using only your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free that also has mopping capabilities. It's part of a plethora of combo robot vacuums that also feature mops however it's priced at a cheaper price than many of the competitors.

Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This involves setting up an account with the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once you've done that, the machine will begin vacuuming and mopping with ease.

robot vacuum cleaner uk  to note that the mapping process can take a while, and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get an accurate picture of your room. The object detection is not perfect. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles, but got stuck on a looser rug with tassels that it needed to turn to free itself. These aren't major issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those who need an all-purpose cleaning tool that can do all of the above.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses the rotation of the motion, which is similar to hand scrubs. This results in floors being cleaned and not just being swept. The detachable vacuum stick is an innovative tool that can get to places robot vacuums can't.

The model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an a bit higher suction capacity of 8700Pa, and a few additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can be used to learn your home's environment and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. The app's smart feature allows you to alter a variety of settings, including AI cleaning and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging station after each task to clean their pads, empty their dust bins and put the waste in the self-sealing bags. This helps keep the system clean, and stops allergens from circulating. Its battery life is long enough to handle large spaces without needing a recharge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop that has impressive features for affordable prices. It features an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a moving floor brush for carpets, and a great obstacle avoidance. It also has a unique mopping method, which uses a roller continuously dosed with water to pick dirt and place it in the dirty water tank.

Its navigation system was efficient. It stayed clear of steps and walked close to walls without falling. It had trouble with fine particles and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. Its operating noise is also relatively high, and it could be less of a set-and-forget model than others.

The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, comes with a docking system that allows it to refill its clean water, empty the dust bin as well as wash and dry the mop, as well as empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to the regular schedule. Eufy's app allows you to manage all the functions. It gives you a clear overview with plenty of options for configuration.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is one of the best vacuums/mowers on the market. It delivers impressive results in mopping and vacuuming. The LIDAR mapping sensors can recognize furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with decent accuracy. The app lets users fine-tune the coverage of the map, establish no-go zones, and even customize cleaning preferences. The Freo's brush is specifically designed to prevent hair from wrapping itself around it. This can be an issue for many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM, while applying up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system is also equipped with smart carpet detection, lifting the pads up when they're close to soft surfaces to avoid contaminating them with.

The docking station that is all-in-one functions as a hands-free maintenance center which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops, and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also comes with integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of maintenance-free operation, unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins every time they are empty.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars less than the S8 This robot does a bang-up job at keeping my home office tidy and is able to take on the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to build an image of your area, so it knows where not to go. And, unlike many vacuums with mopping capabilities, it has object/obstacle detection that avoids items such as bowls and dog toys (but not poop!).

It has other great standout features, including a self-emptying dust bin, a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas other mops miss. You can also set your own cleaning schedule within the app and adjust the settings for each room in your home.

It has the same multi-room smart mapping that is found in the S8 and can differentiate between carpets and laminate with high-pile carpets. If you're looking to cut down on time, it will avoid mopping rooms that aren't soiled. It's a great choice for those who have a variety of flooring in your home but aren't looking to spend the extra money for Roborock. Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

If you're looking to find a multi-functional robot vacuum and mop that can handle regular maintenance and touch-ups on wet messes, this robot is an excellent choice. It comes with a variety of features including self-emptying dustbins, the water refill dock, and adjustable settings in the app. It's quite quiet and can move between furniture legs and socks effortlessly. It's not able to pick up knots in the rug and its battery drains more quickly than other models we've test.

With a cost of less than $250 and less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and useful automation into a slick design. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests for vacuuming, but overall it did very well. It has a variety of cleaning modes, from the low-power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the more powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It can even remove and reconnect the mop pads without causing your carpets soaked.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used even in small spaces. It's extremely silent and fast and it is able to navigate tight spaces well. It also does a very good job of removing pet hair out of carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competitors however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has good suction power and can be configured to take pictures of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys), and mark them in the app as "not found' to ensure that they are not removed in future cleanings. The photos are secure and not linked to your account.

It is capable of vaccuming, but it isn't as effective at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes you clip to the bot's bottom, and it essentially drags them around the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
